Product performance

Oxyfluorfen was developed by Rohm and Haas in 1975, and its herbicide activity was 5~10 times higher than that of the corresponding herbicide, and 16.32 times higher than that of caprodan. It can be used in combination with a variety of herbicides to expand the herbicide spectrum, improve the efficacy, and be convenient to use. It can be treated both before and after bud, with low toxicity.

Mode of action

Selective ,Low toxicity, touch herbicide. It exerts its herbicidal activity in the presence of light. Pre-bud and early post-bud application had the best effect, and had a wide killing spectrum of weeds that germinated from seeds. It could control broadleaved weeds, sedge and paspalum, but had an inhibitory effect on perennial weeds. Control objects: Monocot and broadleaved weeds can be controlled in transplanted rice, soybean, corn, cotton, peanut, sugarcane, vineyards, orchards, vegetable fields and forest nurseries.

Usage

This product is a kind of fluoride diphenyl ethers, which is an ultra-low dosage selective, pre-bud and post-bud contact herbicide. Weeds are mainly killed by absorbing the agent through the coleoptile and mesoderm. It is suitable for rice, soybean, wheat, cotton, corn, oil palm, vegetables and orchards, etc., to control broadleaf weeds and some grass weeds, such as Camelina, barnyardgrass, sedges, sesquina, brome, Datura, etc., the dosage is 1 ~ 2g active ingredients /100m2. For example, 4 ~ 6 days after rice transplanting, from the bud stage to the 1.5 leaf stage of crusgallgrass, use 1.5 ~ 2.3mL/100m2 of 24% emulsion to make poisonous soil and spread evenly. It can also be spread in 0.5% granules. For soybean, cotton and other crops after sown before seedling application, with 24% emulsion 7.5mL/100m2, water evenly spray soil surface.

Toxicity

Oral LD50>5000mg/kg in toxic male rats and acute percutaneous LD50>5000mg/kg in rabbits. No carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic effect. The LC50 of rainbow trout was 0.3mg/L. The transoral LD50 was 25.4μg/ bee. Quail LD50>5000mg/kg. Mild skin irritation and moderate eye irritation.
