Product Description
Imidacloprid is a nitromethylene systemic insecticide, which is the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor receptor. It interferes with the motor nervous system of pests and causes the chemical signal transmission to fail. There is no cross-resistance problem. It is used to control piercing-sucking mouthparts pests and their resistant strains. Imidacloprid is a new generation of chlorinated nicotine insecticide, which has a broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity, and low residue. Pests are not easy to develop resistance, and it has multiple effects of contact killing, stomach poisoning and systemic absorption. After the pests come into contact with the agent, the normal conduction of the central nervous system is blocked, causing them to be paralyzed and die. It has good rapid effect, with a high prevention effect one day after the drug is applied, and the residual period is as long as about 25 days. The efficacy is positively correlated with temperature. The higher the temperature, the better the insecticidal effect. It is mainly used to control piercing-sucking mouthparts pests.
Application:
Used to control piercing-sucking mouthparts pests, such as aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, thrips, whiteflies and their resistant strains. It is also effective against Coleoptera, Diptera and Lepidoptera. Imidacloprid is inactive against nematodes and red spiders. Due to its excellent systemicity, it is particularly suitable for seed treatment and application in granules. It can be used for early and continuous control of pests on cereal crops, corn, rice, potatoes, sugar beets and cotton. Foliar spraying can be used for pests in the late growth stages of the above crops and citrus, deciduous fruit trees, vegetables, etc. Foliar spraying has excellent control effects on black-tailed leafhoppers, planthoppers (brown planthoppers, gray planthoppers, white-backed planthoppers), aphids (green peach aphids, cotton aphids) and thrips (greenhouse hedge thrips), which is better than buprofezin, ethotripsy, pirimicarb and cartap.

Instructions for use

Soil treatment, seed treatment and foliar spraying are all acceptable.
(1)When the concentration in the soil is 1.25mg/kg, it can control green peach aphids on cabbage and bean aphids on broad beans
for a long time.
(2) When controlling rice brown planthoppers, white-backed planthoppers, leafhoppers and thrips, the dosage is 20-30g/hm2. It has a rapid effect and a long lasting effect. The control effect of more than 90% can be maintained for more than 40 days. It has good selectivity between planthoppers and natural enemies. When used for soil treatment of seedbeds or nursery fields, it has ideal control effects on small rice stripe leaf blight transmitted by gray planthoppers, common dwarf disease transmitted by black-tailed leafhoppers, and yellow dwarf disease.
(3) It has excellent control effects on various aphids, including orchard green peach aphids that have developed a high level of resistance to various insecticides. Using 15-30g/hm2 of active ingredient and spraying it with water (5000-20000 times diluted) can effectively control green peach aphids, wheat aphids, vegetable aphids and cotton aphids, and the control effect of more than 90% can last for more than 1 month.
(4) Control of wheat aphids: The control effect gradually increases with the increase of dosage. After the occurrence of aphids, the use of 25% wettable powder at 75g/hm2 has a relatively stable and ideal control effect. When used to prevent aphids during the flowering period, 25% wettable powder at 150g/hm2 per mu is appropriate to ensure a sufficiently long lasting effect.
(5)Treatment with 1g ai/kg seeds can control bean aphids and cotton aphids for at least 5 weeks. (6) Efficacy against resistant pests: Since the effect of imidacloprid is different from that of organophosphate, carbamate and pyrethroid insecticides, it also has a good effect on aphids, leafhoppers and planthoppers that have developed resistance to conventional insecticides. Resistant black-tailed leafhoppers, brown planthoppers and gray planthoppers are no longer sensitive to organophosphates and carbamates, and peach aphids are no longer sensitive to organophosphates, carbamates and pyrethroids. Compared with sensitive strains, the sensitivity of resistant strains to imidacloprid has not decreased.
